Sector Sales Manager MED

DQS is a company focused on certification services for medical device manufacturers. They are seeking a Sector Sales Manager to drive strategic growth by leading sales of MDSAP, MDR, and ISO 13485 audits, while building client relationships and collaborating with technical teams.

Responsibilities

Develop sales concepts for cross-selling products
Determines market requirements and market potential
Budget and sales target planning
Results analysis, data analysis and regular reporting
Cooperates with all other sales divisions of the DQS Group
Plans for and organization of customer experience events and appearances at trade fairs and contacts with manufacturer associations
Visiting of new or potential customer for project planning
Realizes excellent market penetration and customer acquisition in everyday practice
Leads interdisciplinary project teams
Implements the sales strategy in the subordinated units and processes
Entrepreneurial leadership and guidance within area of responsibility
Takes responsibility for incoming orders (new customer business)
Manage sales, growth and business development as key performance indicators
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Undergraduate degree in medical or scientific studies, business/marketing or other relevant discipline or equivalent professional knowledge
Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in technical or regulatory services, preferably in certification, auditing, or consulting for medical device industry
Strong knowledge of applicable regulations: ISO 13485, MDSAP, and EU MDR
Proven experience in business development and key account management within highly regulated environments
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Ability to effectively engage with technical professionals, including RA/QA managers, quality directors, and executive-level stakeholders
Strong customer orientation, team player abilities, willingness to learn and goal orientation
Knowledge of common sales and distribution methods, events and trade shows in the medical device sector
Knowledge of the US medical device market and the key users of medical device manufacturers
Knowledge of the key branches of the US-based manufacturers for medical devices and their needs
Social Media Competence
Experience in creating digital content and leads for sales activities

Preferred

Preferred background working with certification body or within a medical device manufacturer in quality, regulatory affairs, or compliance roles
