IT Associate
ECCO Equipment Controls Company is one of the largest North American distributors of natural gas measurement products and services. The IT Associate will be responsible for managing endpoint management, Microsoft 365/Azure administration, and providing core user/network support to ensure workforce productivity and security.
Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 / Entra ID: Manage identity lifecycle, license assignments, mail flow, Conditional Access/MFA, shared/resource mailboxes, and basic DLP
Intune / Endpoint Management: Own Autopilot provisioning, compliance and configuration profiles, Windows Update rings, BitLocker, Win32 app packaging, device remediation, and PowerShell automation
Windows 11 Support (Tier 1–2): Handle imaging, patching, drivers, and coordinate hardware break/fix; resolve escalated endpoint issues
Helpdesk Ticketing Management: Address all incoming tickets to the helpdesk. Categorize and prioritize requests. Modify RMM policies to increase IT support efficiency
Networking (hands-on, light): Support TCP/IP, DHCP/DNS, Wi‑Fi and VLAN basics, printer/scanner connectivity; coordinate with ISP and vendors
Zoom Phone Administration: Provision users/licenses, manage numbers and porting, design and maintain call queues/auto attendants, configure business/after-hours/holiday routing, ensure E911/Nomadic E911, provision desk phones as applicable, monitor QoS/MOS in Zoom analytics, and manage carrier/vendor escalations. Maintain change logs
ERP: Epicor Solar Eclipse Administration: Provision/deprovision users, govern roles/permissions (RBAC), maintain menus/profiles, perform minor configuration (fields/forms/workflows) in sandbox first, execute small data corrections under change control, manage vendor support tickets, publish release notes and end-user training snippets
Security & Compliance Hygiene: Ensure device encryption and least privilege; support phishing response and escalation; maintain Defender for Endpoint basics. Participate in ISO 27001 certification and re-certification for our branches
Documentation & Enablement: Maintain SOPs and self‑service KB articles; track assets/inventory and manage renewals
Office Workforce Support: The IT Associate will be responsible for supporting our team in-person at the Norcross office 4 days a week. This role requires travel to our other four locations twice a year to provide in-person support to those teams as well
Qualification
Required
2–5 years in IT support/endpoint administration in a Windows 11 + Microsoft 365 environment
Hands‑on administration with Intune/Autopilot and Entra ID/Microsoft 365
Experience with a major platform ticketing/RMM system
Working knowledge of VoIP administration concepts (call routing, queues, auto attendants, E911, porting, QoS)
Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DHCP/DNS, Wi‑Fi, VLAN basics
PowerShell proficiency for routine admin tasks; strong customer communication skills
Must be willing to travel via air to our other locations. This position requires up to 25% travel
Preferred
Microsoft certifications: MD‑102 (Endpoint), MS‑102 (M365), AZ‑104 (Azure), SC‑900 (Security Fundamentals)
CompTIA certifications: Network+, Security+, etc
Deeper Zoom Phone/VoIP experience (SIP/QoS)
ERP experience, preferably Epicor Solar Eclipse (role design, sandbox testing, change management)
Defender for Endpoint, Purview/DLP, and general SSO implementation (SAML/OIDC) experience
