Qualification

Required

Should be working towards a degree in wildlife management or closely related field
An interest in game bird management and ecology
Have a good driving record
An agreement/understanding of consumptive wildlife management practices
A positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
Previous experience with radio-telemetry is desired
Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel, databases, and ArcGIS is desired
Applicants should be comfortable occasionally working alone after dark
Lift up to 50 lbs. for brief periods and work in inclement weather
Driving is a requirement of this position

Preferred

Experience pulling trailers
Experience with the operation of UTVs
Previous gamebird work experience
Previous telemetry, field research, and computer experience
