Responsibilities

Deliver business results through strategic account planning and execution
Build and nurture strong internal and external relationships to foster collaboration and trust
Identify and secure new business opportunities with existing and new customers
Supporting internal team in all aspects of customer support by providing accurate forecasts, identifying pain points, managing new business projects, and working to overcome obstacles to business growth and success
Stay ahead of industry trends to provide insights that influence customer and company decisions

Required

Bachelor's Degree (business/food science or comparable) or equivalent work experience Required
Minimum 2 yrs of outside sales experience
Ability to travel (30% of time - occasional weekend travel required)

Conducts self in professional manner

Preferred

Master's degree is a plus
Previous experience in food service or related category selling (strongly preferred)
Culinary Training/R&D/Technical knowledge
Food Ingredient sales experience
