Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established protocols
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials when required, and reporting any irregularities
Communicate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed to address incidents or emergencies at the government location
Remain alert and observant during patrols and while monitoring the premises to help to deter potential security-related threats
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years of security-related experience is required
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
