Responsibilities
Providing ongoing professional development services for staff members
Conducting comprehensive new employee orientation and coordinating competency completion
Delivering annual mandatory and continuous education for staff, adhering to state and federal regulations and company policies
Teaching in-house courses such as the CNA training program and special care unit training
Coordinating the employee health program, including immunizations, flu shots, and physical exams
Monitoring and ensuring current licensure and certifications of facility staff
Qualification
Required
Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experience in staff development or education
Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to nursing and healthcare
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to conduct training and educational programs
Experience in coordinating health programs and employee health services
Preferred
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
Certification in nursing education or staff development
Experience with competency assessment and evaluation
