Responsibilities

Serve as Project Engineer or Assistant Project Engineer on major construction projects throughout Michigan and Ohio

Oversee the administration of transportation construction projects from pre-construction through final acceptance

Lead and mentor junior engineers, inspectors, and support staff

Review and interpret engineering plans and specifications for roadways, bridges, and associated infrastructure

Ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with MDOT standards and specifications

Coordinate with contractors, clients, and government agencies to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum

Develop innovative solutions to construction challenges and facilitate effective problem-solving

Provide clear, professional communication across multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders

Promote safety, quality control, and environmental compliance on all project sites
