Responsibilities
Lead all aspects payroll practices
Independently investigate and resolve complex payroll tax problems, communicating resolutions to internal and external customers and tax authorities
Supervise a staff of Payroll Tax reporting specialists, including employment decisions, performance management, compensation and reward planning, and employee development
Responsible for all regulatory requirements for payroll taxes and year-end processing (W-2 and agency reporting) related to all Progressive payroll companies and employees
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 5 years payroll tax experience
{OR} Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or Business Management and a minimum of 4 years payroll tax experience
Preferred
Extensive tax knowledge regarding Federal, FUTA, SU, State, and Local taxes
Recent tax filing experience and experience with ADP MasterTax
Experience coaching, counseling, or mentoring payroll talent
