Executive Assistant, AWS Region Services

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a self-motivated Executive Assistant to support three directors within the AWS Region Services team. This role involves managing complex executive calendars, travel planning, and organizing meetings and events, while ensuring effective communication and organization in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Management of complex executive calendars with attention to accuracy, detail, and allocation of time to promote productivity and recognize the need to reprioritize as appropriate
Executive travel planning, both domestic and international. Create detailed travel itineraries and coordinate with in-house travel agents to ensure smooth transitions between time zones; manage international travel processes including passport, visas, and any other applicable documentation
Process expense reports, invoices, and purchase orders as needed
Organize and manage meetings (including setting agendas and driving follow-up of action items) and events such as offsites, All Hands, Town Halls, and team-based social events
Act as a liaison for direct reports
Support annual operational planning process, business planning, and performance review cycles

Required

Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
5+ years of executive assistant experience
Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities
Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
Must be a US citizen

Preferred

Experience leading process improvements
Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
Experience in balancing conflicting priorities dealing with ambiguity
Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks
Experience working in fast paced environments, and managing workload even during times of stress, or escalated activity
