Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in statistics and data analytics, both on campus and online, as assigned
Revise and develop course materials and contribute to curriculum design, as assigned
Participate in the course development in statistics and data science at the undergraduate and graduate level
Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address student and program needs, as assigned
Collaborate with faculty on degree program initiatives related to statistics and data science
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in statistics, mathematics, data science, or a related field
This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UTSA and its infrastructure
Preferred
Minimum of one year of experience teaching data science at the undergraduate or graduate level
Proficiency with R, SAS, and Python, and experience using technology to teach statistics and data science courses
Previous teaching experience, preferably at an institution of higher education
