Responsibilities
Operating electronic total station instrument, transit, Auto-level and other surveying instruments
Reads, reviews, and interprets maps, drawings and diagrams
Sets and marks stakes for slopes, grades and other construction purposes
Determines and sets markers
Determines lines, corners, elevations, grades, alignments, angles, positions and distances
Maintains total station and field book
Maintains survey equipment and tools
Performs related field and office engineering work
Qualification
Required
2-year construction/surveying experience using total station and site levels
High school diploma/GED
Complete understanding of surveying math
Good communication skills
Ability to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment
Ability to work outside
Ability to work overtime and weekend hours
Punctuality and promptness required every day
