Responsibilities
Greet, welcome, and assist all guests on their purchasing needs
Assist with merchandise deliveries from central receiving and take the lead in overall organization and cleanliness of the retail stockroom
Ensure that the pro shop is restocked daily, ensuring size runs are complete and all inventory is neatly folded & merchandised
Become knowledgeable on the products we carry and educate colleagues
Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory reconciliation
Become knowledgeable on all aspects of cashiering, including opening & closing of the register, ringing sales & exchanges, and periodically checking in golfers
Become knowledgeable with our inventory management system
Assist with leading and training of new sales associates on daily operations
Assist with placing special orders and exchanges
Assist in checking in orders, tagging, and reporting discrepancies to leadership
Complete other tasks assigned within job scope
Qualification
Required
Enrolled at an accredited University with a focus on golf or merchandising
Ability to speak effectively with guests with a service-mentality
High school diploma or equivalent
Applicants must be available from May through October
Nights and weekends are required
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, cold, sun & heat)
Must be able to stand & walk throughout the day, occasionally on uneven surfaces
Must be able to frequently lift, push, pull & carry up to 25lbs, occasionally up to 50lbs
Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel & twist on a frequent basis, sometimes for prolonged periods
