Commercial Flooring Project Manager
Park Rug Company & Interiors is a trusted, family-owned flooring specialist serving the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area since 1922. They are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Flooring Project Manager to oversee commercial flooring projects from pre-construction planning through final installation, ensuring precision and professionalism throughout the process.
Construction
Responsibilities
Manage commercial flooring projects from contract award through completion
Collaborate with the estimating team to review project scopes and budgets
Enter and manage job data using RFMS (training provided if needed)
Order and track flooring materials and supplies
Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with field teams
Communicate clearly with clients, contractors, and internal staff
Monitor job progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery
Maintain accurate documentation and project reporting
Qualification
Required
4–5 years of experience in commercial flooring or construction project management
Strong skills in communication, coordination, and contract management
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach
In person position. Needs to be able to commute to Laurel Maryland
Preferred
Familiarity with RFMS or similar project management software
Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus but not required
