Responsibilities
Provide technical support for in-house hospital information system, network, and personal computers
Support and maintain users, computers, networks and security systems with a focus on high-level planning and design
Interact with vendors, all IT Staff, and the Network Engineer
Implement, operate, monitor, configure, and maintain networks, and network hardware and information systems
Install network hardware, troubleshoot servers, operate software and hardware, manage network services, support network infrastructure, monitor performance, manage security, manage user accounts, and restore and back up information systems
Guarantee the integrity of high availability network infrastructure to enable optimal performance for Adirondack Health through continual service improvement and collaboration with the IT Department and the organization
Participate in on-call rotation
Qualification
Required
Associates degree in computer information systems/networking
Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility
Extensive knowledge of networks and computer systems through professional experience in at least three of the following areas: desktop, end user applications, server, network, security, or virtualization
Excellent logical reasoning, problem solving, communication, interpersonal, and computational abilities
Valid driver's license and evidence of insurability
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in computer information systems/networking
A+/Network+, Cisco CCNA certifications
