Responsibilities

Spearhead a talented, cross-functional team, driving innovation with state-of-the-art tools and methodologies
Architect sophisticated software solutions using modern C++ in Linux environments, leveraging frameworks like Kubernetes for containerized deployments, cloud-native architectures, and real-time data processing pipelines
Integrate emerging technologies for signal processing and advanced simulation environments, to push the boundaries of electronic warfare systems
Collaborate closely with Systems, Hardware, and Test engineers across all project phases—from strategic planning and requirements definition to design, development, integration, and testing
Present innovative technical designs at customer interchange meetings
Mentor engineers to foster technical excellence
Ensure program success through clear communication and robust processes

Required

Active Top Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
12+ years of professional software engineering experience
Deep expertise in embedded and application software development in C++ on Linux platforms
Strong foundation in Object-Oriented design and system architecture
Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, drive architecture decisions, and deliver complex systems
Experience with software engineering processes, methodologies, testing, validation, and verification
Proven success influencing system-level design and integration across large programs
Strong customer-facing communication skills with experience briefing senior stakeholders

Preferred

Master's degree in computer science or computer engineering
Background in electronic warfare, radar, or communication systems
CompTIA Security+ certification
Experience with Agile methodologies and full life-cycle development
Hands-on experience with Atlassian Suite, ClearCase, Git/Bit Bucket, or CI/CD frameworks
Demonstrated success as a technical lead or customer-facing engineering architect
