Cumming Group is one of the fastest-growing project and cost management consultancies in the United States, and they are seeking a Senior Procurement/Commercial Manager to join their team. In this client-facing role, you will develop procurement processes, create tools for the procurement team, and oversee project financial reporting while mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

Develop new and review existing procurement processes to ensure our client has a best-in-class procurement system

Using advanced excel techniques create tools that the procurement team can use to improve and standardize results across the clients data center portfolio

Work with contract managers to ensure financial reporting to senior client personnel is accurate and timely

Work with senior client personnel to deliver EOM reporting and financial reconciliation with other stakeholders

Present and train new contract managers on use of newly created tools

Procure equipment and services for data center projects

Review and administer change orders for live data center projects

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Engineering, Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Architecture is highly preferred. A combination of education and work experience will also be considered in lieu of degree

Experience in life sciences, pharma or bio tech sectors

Experience and understanding of best in class procurement processes using multiple various contracting methodologies

Advanced excel abilities, must be comfortable with; conditional formatting, dashboard creation, pivot tables, etc

Advanced skill level in Excel and intermediate knowledge of Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook
