Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a Card Services Specialist I to join their team. This role involves assisting members with account and card inquiries, preventing fraud, and providing information regarding account status and services offered by the credit union.

Responsibilities

Assists members and staff with their telephone requests regarding card servicing; answers questions about products and services and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve. Refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with their recommendations

Prevents fraud by correctly identifying members using call identification procedures. Report any suspicious activities or potential security breaches to the appropriate personnel

Provides members with information and direction regarding their account status, requests, payments, and rights and obligations associated with the account

Actively participate in employee-led coaching sessions with supervisors, while taking ownership of personal coaching goals

Performs other related duties as assigned
