Furniture Installation Technician

New Grad, Entry LevelJLL is a leading global provider of real estate and investment management services, and they are seeking a Furniture Installation Technician. This role is responsible for executing work orders related to furniture installations, including tasks such as delivering, moving, and repairing furniture, as well as performing basic equipment repairs and carpentry tasks.

Responsibilities
Delivering/retrieving furniture
Moving furniture
Repairing furniture
Reconfiguring workstations
Performing furniture/occupancy surveys
Relocating employee belongings/crates to new work areas
Setting furniture in work areas to standard
Basic equipment and facility repairs
Simple carpentry tasks, such as installing shelves. hooks, or closet rods
Qualification
Required
Proficient in the use of computers/smartphones
Ability to communicate (verbal and written) and interact with customers in a corporate setting
Ability to work independently and complete assignments with minimal supervision
Knowledgeable or experienced with hand and power tools, dollies and other moving equipment
High school diploma or GED required
Experience in a corporate office environment
Must be able to lift/push 75 lbs
Must be able to walk up to 8 hours a day
Onsite daily Monday-Friday, 1st shift
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Preferred
Experience with office furniture systems preferred, but not necessary
