Business Development & Strategy Consultant (Commission-Based)
ANSANBL is a strategy and consulting firm that supports mission-driven organizations, schools, nonprofits, and values-aligned businesses in building strong systems, effective leadership, and sustainable growth. They are seeking a Business Development & Strategy Consultant to support lead generation, client acquisition, and early-stage consulting conversations in a commission-only, independent contractor role.

Responsibilities
Identify and source qualified leads aligned with ANSANBL’s services
Conduct outbound outreach (email, LinkedIn, warm referrals, networking)
Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients
Lead initial discovery conversations to assess organizational needs and fit
Communicate ANSANBL’s services, approach, and value proposition
Advance qualified prospects toward proposal or contract stage
Support early strategy conversations and scoping discussions
Collaborate on proposals, service alignment, and client handoff
Participate in select client onboarding or transition meetings
Build referral and partnership relationships
Represent ANSANBL professionally in networking and partner spaces
Qualification
Required
Experience in business development, consulting, sales, or partnerships
Comfortable selling and discussing intangible professional services
Strong communicator and relationship-builder
Self-directed, entrepreneurial, and outcome-focused
Comfortable with commission-based compensation
Preferred
Familiarity with nonprofit, education, or mission-driven organizations
