$27/hr - $33/hrSonic is a company seeking an MDU Estimator to provide site surveys and cost evaluations for full building installations at MDU buildings. The role involves collaborating with Field Service Management and the MDU Sales team to facilitate decision-making on installation projects.

Responsibilities
Create, update, and maintain internal project estimates, maps, documents, graphic displays
Maintain thorough working knowledge of applicable estimating processes
Estimating time and materials for MDU Full Building Installs
Establishing cost analysis
Designing installation plans – experience with PowerPoint or adobe design
Continuing to find creative installation methods to further expand Full Building Installs
Customer/public/municipal interactions and relations/problem solving
Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
Serving as a point of contact for MDU Foreman and Sales teams to ensure team actions remain in synergy
Communicating with Field Service Management and MDU Sales Team to keep the project aligned with their goals
Apply for and maintain permits
Working with Plant when construction and Conduit leasing is needed
Basic understanding of fiber cable types and GPON fiber design
Ability to read and understand building blueprints
