Start in 2026 SummerNEOGOV is seeking energetic individuals for two internship opportunities within Recreation and Aquatics. The role involves supervising, developing, implementing, and evaluating a variety of Parks and Recreation activities, as well as assisting with staff training and facility management.

Responsibilities
Supervise, develop, implement, and evaluate a wide variety of Parks and Recreation activities, events, facilities and projects
Assist with scheduling, training, and providing direction for part-time/temporary and volunteer staff
Assist with reservation scheduling and supervision of facilities
Complete reports, evaluations and documentation for participant and employee feedback
Qualification
Required
Students enrolled in a Parks and Recreation related curriculum as a full-time student at a college, university, or vocational technical school
Ability to work as a team member and collaborate effectively with others
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work a 40-hour flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred
Aquatics and/or lifeguarding certification preferred for the aquatics internship
