Learning & Development Program Manager

The Hillman Group is seeking a dynamic and strategic Learning and Development Program Manager to drive the performance, engagement, and development of their field sales teams. This role focuses on delivering and optimizing training initiatives related to key duplication solutions, coaching sales talent, and implementing learning strategies aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

Conduct learning needs assessments to identify skill gaps across field teams and design training strategies that improve performance and sales readiness
Develop interactive training programs using adult‑learning best practices, including instructor led workshops, blended learning paths, and self‑paced eLearning
Assist with the development of digital learning materials such as simulations, assessments, videos, scenario-based training, and performance support tools
Facilitate onboarding programs for new hires with a focus on hands‑on kiosk operations, customer interactions, and sales enablement preparedness
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development planning to frontline employees and sales reps
Develop and deliver training solutions both instructor led and digital to drive adoption and sales of key duplication kiosks, including standard key and automotive key fob services
Partner closely with field sales reps, store managers, and district leaders to strengthen product knowledge, sales confidence, and customer service capabilities
Create sales focused training assets (job aids, microlearning, video demos, and eLearning modules) that support solution selling and customer engagement
Monitor training effectiveness using data, feedback, and field insights; use findings to continuously improve training content, digital modules, and enablement programs
Collaborate with cross functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Corporate Learning to align learning strategies with business priorities
Serve as a bridge between corporate teams and the field, ensuring training programs support company goals and sales initiatives
Build and maintain strong relationships with store teams, regional leaders, and cross functional partners to drive engagement and adoption of training programs
Coordinate communication with sales managers, training leads, and marketing to ensure consistent messaging across all learning and sales enablement materials
Utilize data to provide regular updates on training impact, program performance, and rollout progress to key stakeholders
Track performance and learning outcomes within CRM and learning platforms to support reporting and talent development
Support special projects, pilots, and regional launches through targeted training and sales enablement content
Stay current on products, kiosk technology, learning tools, and industry trends to ensure training programs remain relevant and effective
May manage a team of learning specialist

Required

3–7 years of experience in sales, field enablement, training, or learning & development
Experience supporting or training on hardware or technical retail solutions, preferably including key duplication kiosks (mechanical and/or automotive)
Proven ability to design and facilitate adult learning programs in field-based or customer-facing environments
Strong communication, presentation, and coaching skills with a focus on practical learning application
Data driven mindset with the ability to assess training effectiveness and optimize learning strategies
Comfortable traveling up to 50% of the time across store and district locations
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); preferred experience with Salesforce, Power BI, or similar platforms
Knowledge of sales enablement platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and content creation tools
Experience with a variety of AI tools
