Responsibilities
Grow and manage customer accounts within a defined territory
Identify new business opportunities and generate qualified leads
Deliver onsite product demos, technical presentations, and solution proposals
Recommend metrology equipment such as CMMs, scales, gages, torque/force tools, and optical systems
Collaborate with internal teams
Prepare quotes, respond to RFPs, and negotiate within defined pricing guidelines
Maintain accurate customer relationship records and forecast pipeline activity
Support customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention
Qualification
Required
Working knowledge of dimensional measurement, calibration processes, and ISO/IEC 17025
3–5+ years of sales or account management experience in metrology, industrial equipment, or manufacturing
Strong communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly to customer sites
Preferred
Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience
Experience selling metrology or precision measurement equipment
Background in calibration labs or ISO-accredited environments
Existing relationships within industrial or manufacturing sectors
