Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of wholesale credit stress testing—risk identification, scenario development, loss estimation, data preparation, model execution, and insight generation for senior stakeholders
Partner cross-functionally with risk, finance, modeling, credit, and business unit teams to design, refine, and deliver internal credit stress testing exercises
Embed forward-looking stress outputs into the firm’s risk appetite routines, informing limit setting and tolerance decisions
Act as the owner for core stress testing models, overseeing methodology, implementation, enhancements, and performance monitoring to ensure alignment with internal and regulatory expectations
Improve analytical processes by enhancing tools, data flows, and automation capabilities to streamline production cycles and elevate quality
Support broader initiatives related to climate risk integration, ESG analytics, and emerging portfolio risk themes
Interpret relevant supervisory guidance and ensure expectations are incorporated into methodology, documentation, and governance materials
Mentor and guide junior quantitative team members to support high-quality delivery across workstreams
Qualification
Required
Senior-level experience in credit risk management or related field
Proven track record in leading credit stress testing and scenario analytics
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to credit risk
Experience in overseeing quantitative analysis and model development
Ability to partner cross-functionally with various teams including risk, finance, and modeling
Experience in enhancing analytical processes and tools
Strong mentoring and leadership skills
Preferred
Experience with climate risk integration and ESG analytics
Familiarity with emerging portfolio risk themes
Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics)
