InterSources Inc is seeking a highly experienced Lead Performance Test Engineer to define, own, and execute performance testing strategies for large-scale B2B and B2C web platforms in the automotive domain. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in performance testing along with the ability to lead teams and collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams.

Responsibilities

Define and own the overall performance testing strategy across multiple programs

Lead and mentor a team of performance test engineers

Act as the primary performance testing point of contact for customer stakeholders

Translate business and non-functional requirements into measurable performance goals

Design and develop performance test scripts using k6 with JavaScript

Execute performance tests and analyze results to identify bottlenecks

Provide recommendations and guidance on performance improvements

Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and DevOps teams to resolve performance issues

Required

12+ years of experience in performance testing

Proven experience in a Lead or Manager role managing performance testing teams

Strong hands-on expertise with k6 and JavaScript (mandatory)

Deep understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and metrics

Experience defining performance strategies for complex enterprise systems

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior customer and engineering stakeholders

Experience working on large-scale B2B and B2C web platforms, preferably in the automotive domain
