They are seeking an Environmental Planner 1 to join their Transportation Business Group, responsible for managing environmental data, providing NEPA guidance, and supporting technical studies.

Responsibilities
Collect and manage project-related data for environmental science and planning-related studies
Provide technical guidance on the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and related environmental law and regulation as it relates to both transportation and non-transportation projects
Prepare and/or review NEPA documents
Manage, analyze, conduct, and/or review technical studies in support of NEPA documents
Assist senior staff in environmental task assignments, and
Perform other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Resources or Planning
Experienced in MS Office Suite
Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills
Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research abilities
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred
Master's degree in Environmental Science, Resources, Planning, or related field
Previous environmental planning experience
Local candidates preferred
