Business Development -Freight Forwarding
JSG is seeking several Business Development Managers to support the growth of their global logistics client specializing in international shipping and freight forwarding services. This remote position offers a dynamic environment where candidates can make a significant impact on the client’s expansion ambitions.
Responsibilities
Design and execute sales strategies to bolster the company’s footprint in international logistics
Identify prospective clients, fueling lead generation to establish a robust client base
Cultivate enduring relationships with current clients to enhance satisfaction and ensure loyalty
Partner with internal teams to deliver bespoke logistics solutions aligned with client needs
Keep pace with industry trends, regulations, and competitor movements to spot new opportunities
Network at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to broaden industry connections
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience in international logistics sales
Proven success in sales within logistics or freight forwarding sectors
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities for effective client interaction
Deep understanding of international logistics procedures, regulations, and documentation
Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and goal-oriented setting
Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools for managing leads, tracking progress, and reporting
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
