Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Financial Data Analyst to support one of their manufacturing client's operating subsidiaries. This hands-on role involves leading financial analysis, supporting the month-end close, and modernizing reporting and decision-making using Power BI and Python.

Responsibilities

Lead financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting for the business unit

Support the Controller and Director of Finance (as well as participate) in the monthly close process, including journal entries and variance analysis

Partner closely with operations and leadership to understand performance drivers

Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards, measures, and models

Work with data from multiple sources, including ERP and SQL-based systems

Use Python for data manipulation, automation, and improving reporting workflows

Oversee and support one direct report (AP / clerical / reporting support)

Help improve analytics adoption and data-driven decision-making across the finance team

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field

Strong understanding of debits, credits, and month-end close

Hands-on experience with Power BI - Building dashboards and reports, Creating measures (DAX), Updating and maintaining reports independently, Connecting to SQL or other data sources

Working knowledge of Python, particularly for - Data manipulation & Automating recurring tasks or reports
