Responsibilities

Administer and optimize GitLab, Jira, and Confluence, ensuring reliability, security, and performance

Develop and maintain automation for build, deployment, and monitoring

Design, implement, and enhance CI/CD pipelines in GitLab with integrated security and compliance

Manage infrastructure with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux server administration

Conduct gap analysis and recommend platform enhancements to improve efficiency and user adoption

Act as a GitLab ambassador, demonstrating value and encouraging platform adoption across stakeholders

Provide technical consultation on upgrades, features, and integrations to strengthen platform capabilities

Ensure compliance with federal security requirements (e.g., NIST 800-53)

Required

Active Secret Clearance

3+ years with AWS, Azure, or GCP

Strong, hands-on GitLab administration and CI/CD experience

Proficiency in Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, etc.)

Skilled in Bash/Shell and Python for automation

Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s, EKS, Helm)

Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical value

Prior federal government experience
