Responsibilities
Identify and execute cost-reduction opportunities across materials, scrap, labor, and tooling
Support new product and process introductions, ensuring smooth transitions into production
Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
Create and maintain process documentation and SOPs
Monitor equipment performance and partner with Maintenance on repairs or upgrades
Champion lean principles and 5S standards across assigned areas
Manage mid-level capital and process improvement projects
Special assignments as assigned
Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment holding self and others accountable to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards
Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven experience with continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects
Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing operations and workflow design
Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred) and statistical analysis software (MiniTab preferred)
Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment holding self and others accountable to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards
Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
Preferred
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
