Electrical (Power Distribution) Engineering Manager
Accentuation Staffing has partnered with an established manufacturing organization that designs and produces mission-critical power and infrastructure solutions. This leadership role plays a key part in shaping product strategy, technical direction, and organizational growth.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team across electrical, mechanical, embedded software, and standards-focused disciplines
Drive new product development and enhancements from concept through design, testing, and release
Collaborate with commercial teams and customers to translate requirements into technical specifications and solutions
Oversee product testing and certification efforts to applicable industry and safety standards
Manage project timelines, priorities, and cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time delivery
Provide oversight of internal information systems and technical infrastructure in alignment with business needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
7–10 years of product development experience, including at least 2–3 years in an engineering leadership or management role
Experience developing hardware-based products within regulated or standards-driven industries
Familiarity with relevant safety, telecommunications, or compliance standards
Proficiency with CAD or electronic design automation tools used in product development
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills with the ability to balance strategy and hands-on execution
