Responsibilities
Manage and communicate with clients while documenting all interactions
Engage with opposing counsel and participate in discovery and motion drafting
Take and defend depositions and conduct full case investigations
Attend depositions, hearings, conferences, interviews, and trials
Research applicable laws and interview witnesses and parties
Mediate cases and prepare for trial, with an expectation of trying multiple cases annually
Advocate at trial and counsel clients through settlement and post-resolution matters
Lead weekly calendar meetings with assigned paralegals
Submit quarterly fee reports to firm leadership
Maintain high professional standards in all client and firm interactions
Qualification
Required
Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing
Trial experience in the personal injury field
Ability to independently manage 50+ litigation cases
Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
Proficiency with case management systems and general computer tools
Professional demeanor with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
