They are currently looking for a Project Accountant II to perform various accounting duties, provide support to project managers, and ensure timely and accurate financial information.

Responsibilities

Perform AR & AP duties
Relay regional accounting processes to region’s operation teams
Perform expense allocation verification, accruals, and journal entries
Assists in monthly revenue recognition, billing, and financial closing
Assists with quarterly review and annual audit
Provides Project Specific Support to Project Managers
Provide support to Project Managers so that Project Financial Information is timely and accurate

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
3-5 years Accounting experience in the construction or engineering industry or a combination of experience and education
Knowledge and experience in engineering and construction accounting
Proficient in MS Office Products including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Be fully capable of working in teams as well as independently
Detail oriented and possesses excellent organizational skills. Capable of maintaining project documentation and working on multiple activities/projects at one time
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills required to develop and maintain client relationships

Preferred

GAAP and SOX Compliance Experience desired
Familiarity of Deltek Cost Point desired
