Responsibilities
Lead project design engineering efforts
Provide staff oversight
Ensure quality control
Assist clients with innovative solutions for a variety of projects and project types
Lead a multidiscipline design team to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets
Help advance business development strategies
Support client development efforts through proposal preparation and sales pursuits for water resources projects throughout the region
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field
Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in Washington State. If not a Washington PE, must be able to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire
At least 7 years of professional experience in water resources engineering and related experience
Proven experience designing and leading small to large water resources projects
Demonstrated ability to lead the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, model development and analysis, studies, proposals and/or reports
Strong technical writing and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Master's degree in fields listed above
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Strong network among local municipalities or other water resources clients in the region
