Responsibilities

Build and maintain complex financial and tax models to quantify the tax cost or savings for various business plans and tax projects
Provide modeling and technical analysis to support tax planning, compliance, and provision teams
Collaborate with regional tax teams on cross-border projects and initiatives
Research tax issues and prepare technical documentation
Monitor legislative and regulatory tax changes and assess their impact
Assist on special projects and ad hoc requests from leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Support the international tax aspects of the company’s tax provision and compliance processes

Qualification

International tax experienceCPALaw degreeUS international tax issuesAdvanced spreadsheet proficiencyAnalytical skillsTransfer pricing conceptsCommunication skillsOrganizational skills

Required

Minimum 5 years of relevant international tax experience (public accounting, law firm, or industry); additional experience strongly preferred
Extensive experience with US international tax issues, including foreign tax credits, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart F, CAMT, etc
Strong understanding of the interdependencies among US tax provisions
Basic familiarity with transfer pricing concepts
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets (such as Excel and Google Sheets), with a demonstrated ability to work with large and complex data sets
Embrace and advocate the Netflix culture and our long-term view

Preferred

CPA, law degree, and/or Master's degree in taxation preferred
