Responsibilities

Responsible for interface analysis, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of complex integration solutions. Must be able to manage/multi-task on several large assigned projects. (essential)

Gathers requirements, performs analysis, develops and maintains interfaces and applications. May include cross-team coordination and cooperation within the EHR application team , Ancillary team or vendors (essential)

The lead in resolving cross-functional issues that are escalated throughout the development, testing, implementation, and support of the lifecycle. (essential)

Supports assigned production environments, troubleshoots technical application issues, documents incoming requests whether handled internally in IS or with a vendor. Delivers high quality support during the implementation of new interfaces. (essential)

Mentor, train and guide team members to facilitate career growth (essential)

Provides on call / after hours support as required. (essential)

Prepares and maintains documentation, including analysis, design, programming, standard procedures (essential)

Performs all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department and/or customer. (essential)

Required

High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred

More than 10 years related work experience required in working in an Information Services Dept. or software vendor organization within the healthcare industry, or 10+ years in HealthCare Information Services with 5 years in a Supervisory or Team Lead role

Integration Engine experience 10+ years

Proficiency with interoperability standards such as HL7 V2.x and REST API, FHIR, Cache Object scripting or equivalent development experience preferred

Candidate will have a proven track record of project and team leadership, producing quality deliverables on time, taking ownership and accountability of assignments and demonstrating a strong work ethic

Advanced technical computer skills as required for technical support specific to functional area and related systems
