Responsibilities
Research and analyze complex legal issues, including but not limited to franchisor liability, legal malpractice, commercial transactions, and privacy violations
Draft compelling submissions for state, federal, and appellate courts
Prepare for and present oral argument in the state, federal, and appellate courts
Collaborate with colleagues on creative case strategies
Contribute to the firm’s thoughtful leadership through written and oral presentations
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice in Michigan (or eligible for admission)
Exceptional legal research, analytical, and persuasive writing skills
Strong oral advocacy and public speaking abilities
Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for challenging legal work
Six plus years of litigation experience in state and/or federal courts
Preferred
Demonstrated ability to distill complex legal issues into concise, persuasive arguments
Prior law review articles or other legal publications
