Responsibilities

Serves as the liaison between outside Clients and the Clinical Laboratories at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center
Responsible for outstanding customer service between all entities
Develops and manages collaborations with laboratory administration and administrative leadership of regional hospitals and outreach clients
Responsible for coordinating all outreach collection facilities, including client services, courier services, sales and marketing and technical support
Supports the mission, vision, values, and strategic initiatives of the organization and demonstrates a commitment to quality service to patients, physicians, the public and co-workers
Functions as an integral part of the laboratory operations outreach team
Responsible for working in partnership to identify, develop and implement operational opportunities to enhance the Wexner Medical Center's operations and to extend net revenue for OSUWMC clinical laboratories
Serves as a liaison between the medical center and community organizations, clinics, healthcare organizations, elder communities and their organizations, as well as government agencies
Engages and supports contracted clients of OSU Reference Laboratories (OSURL) through customer service, test audits, quality reports, financial reports, billing audits

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Health Education, Nursing, Health Services Administration or related field
4 years of relevant experience required
Maintains certification status
Meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements
Demonstrates competence in the technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions

Preferred

4 - 8 years of relevant experience preferred
