Inside Higher Ed is seeking Student Workers for the Academic & Research Technologies department. The role involves providing technical support and maintaining audio/video devices, assisting with installation and troubleshooting hardware and software issues in classroom settings.

Responsibilities

Provides technical support and maintains audio/video devices and peripherals

Assists with installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all classroom hardware while ensuring optimal system performance

With supervision, installs, configures, tests, maintains, and troubleshoots minor level 1 audio/video hardware and software

Responds to service requests regarding hardware and software issues

Maintains an accurate record of all requests for assistance

Provides prompt and accurate information for requests of assistance while maintaining confidentiality

Properly routes requests that need further escalation or attention from full time employees and/or supervisor

Provides guidance and assistance to co-workers

Other duties as assigned
