Structural Designer

They are offering an exciting opportunity for a Structural Designer to perform structural design and analysis tasks for bridge projects, prepare contract documents, and conduct occasional field site visits.
Mechanical Or Industrial Engineering
Responsibilities
Perform structural design and analysis tasks for projects, including bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects under the oversight of a senior engineer
Prepare contract documents for bridge design projects, including design calculations, developments of plans, specifications, quantities, and estimates, and submittal of reviews during construction
Prepare detailed plans for assigned bridge engineering tasks
Occasional field site visits
Qualification
Required
BS in Civil Engineering required
Up to two years of experience
Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Code Requirements
Familiarity with Structural Engineering and Analysis software
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in cooperative, team environments
Preferred
EIT Certification preferred
MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience preferred
