Technology Procurement Manager
AssetMark is a company shaping the future of financial services, and they are seeking a Technology Procurement Manager. This role will lead the development and execution of category strategies for technology spend, partnering with the Product Engineering team to enhance technology sourcing and vendor management while driving cost optimization and innovation.

Responsibilities
Develop and own the end-to-end category strategy for technology spend, including software (SaaS, enterprise applications), hardware, telecom, and cloud services, that ensures alignment with enterprise priorities
Develop and conduct comprehensive spend analysis, market assessments, and risk evaluations to identify sourcing opportunities and efficiencies
Define and build short- and long-term category roadmaps aligned with business and Product Engineering objectives
Lead and execute RFx processes, contract negotiations, and supplier selection in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Product Engineering
Translate business needs into sourcing strategies that drive value, innovation, and risk mitigation while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Develop and manage strategic supplier partnerships to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Monitor supplier performance and service delivery against contractual obligations and KPIs
Lead regular business reviews, manage escalations, oversee renewals, and support supplier rationalization efforts
Deliver measurable savings, total cost of ownership (TCO) improvements, and operational efficiencies
Track, analyze, and report procurement metrics, category performance, and savings realization in collaboration with Finance

Qualification
Required
Proven experience in building and executing a category strategy for a newly defined category
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all organizational levels
Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills
Understanding of IT markets, including AI, cloud, software licensing, and managed services
5-8 years of experience in the field
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field required
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered
