They are seeking a Child and Family Development Specialist to support the evaluation and enrollment of children into services, conduct observations, and provide guidance to families to promote children's success in preschool.

Support the evaluation and enrollment of children into services in consideration of individual needs, including behavioral and special service

Conduct observations

Provide resources and guidance to families

Work to support transitioning children into preschool by identifying services to promote children’s success in the classroom

Qualification

Required

Associate's degree in early childhood education, special education, psychology or highly related field

Two years of experience working with young children (ages three to five) in a classroom setting, home visiting, behavioral health, special services and/or other highly related setting

Knowledge of social-emotional development, community resources, and developmental milestones

Intermediate computer skills, ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook and learn web based systems

Valid driver's license and access to properly insured vehicle, or public transportation

Successful completion of pre-employment process, including Criminal History, MVR, Child Abuse and FBI clearances
