Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

Pre-Flight Inspections: Start your day by 'waking up' the aircraft, conducting thorough pre-flight checks to ensure all systems are fully operational before takeoff
Post-Flight Inspections: After each flight, you will perform detailed post-flight evaluations to identify and address any issues or wear that may have occurred
Maintenance Logging: All maintenance activities—whether scheduled or unscheduled—are documented in Traxxall and properly signed off in aircraft logbooks, ensuring full traceability and compliance
Hangar Maintenance: You’ll help maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the hangar

Qualification

Required

High school diploma/GED
Ability to occasionally lift 75+ pounds
Ability to perform intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, and prolonged periods of standing
Available to work flexible shifts including early mornings, late nights, holidays, and weekends
Participation in initial and random drug and alcohol screenings in accordance with the DOT and FAA guidelines
Ability to operate forklift, boom lift, scissor lift, etc
Ability to taxi and engine run an airplane
Must procure own tool set
Current and valid Driver's license required
Current and valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required
Ability to operate in time critical situation with strong attention to detail

Preferred

Prior aircraft maintenance experience
Experience working with AMM, IPC, FIM, etc. for troubleshooting references
