The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable specifications for design, development, and quality assurance teams.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Software Engineers to define scope and associated effort of proposed features
Elicit, document, analyze, and track business requirements from stakeholders
Facilitate cross-functional solutioning sessions
Translate business requirements into user stories ensuring clarity, accuracy, and testability
Facilitate user story grooming sessions with UX Designers, Developers and QA Analysts to refine articulation of acceptance criteria and technical requirements
Lead cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment between business goals, user experience, and technical implementation
Facilitate communication between stakeholders and development teams to ensure mutual understanding and successful feature delivery
Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, while working to mitigate them
Participate in continuously evaluating and improving internal processes and methods
Develop a deep understanding of the application components and become a subject matter expert on the features and workflows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field OR equivalent work experience
Ten or more years of experience as a Software Business Analyst working on customer-facing web-based software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated ability to facilitate discussion with multiple cross-platform technical teams and drive consensus in complex technical discussions
Proficiency in translating intricate business requirements into comprehensive and testable acceptance criteria via clear and concise user stories
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and solutioning skills
Self-starter with a high level of initiative desiring to be a member of a High Performing Team in a complex working environment
Very strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Experience working in an Agile methodology like Scrum
