Responsibilities
Be a Safety Champion: Lead with a safety-first mindset, ensuring all projects and tasks meet our rigorous safety standards
Drive Innovation: From the ground up, design and refine manufacturing processes for exciting new projects. Get hands-on with equipment procurement, tooling, and coordination to set the stage for groundbreaking products
Boost Efficiency & Quality: Implement cost-saving measures and quality enhancements that make a real difference. Embrace new technologies, automation, and lean practices to elevate our operational excellence
Solve Problems Creatively: Tackle technical challenges on the shop floor with savvy and resourcefulness. Work closely with our Quality Department to root out issues and deploy effective solutions
Collaborate and Influence: Work across a spectrum of departments like Engineering, Sales, and Supply Chain to ensure a cohesive and proactive manufacturing environment
Document & Standardize: Develop and maintain critical manufacturing procedures, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and establishing clear, effective routings for existing products
Lead Critical Projects: Take charge of essential projects and see your ideas come to life in tangible, impactful ways
Cross-Functional Exposure: Gain invaluable insights and build relationships across the full spectrum of the manufacturing process
Continuous Growth: Engage in ongoing professional development that keeps you at the forefront of the industry
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (General, Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical), or related field (required)
2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, and proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D, and MS Office
Experience with CAD/CAM software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD (required)
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Experience with project management and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
