They are seeking a Quality Control Specialist III (Automated Tester) to support automated software testing, Scrum Master support, and project management for the Naval Information Warfare Center.

Responsibilities

Support a contract with Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), Atlantic, in Norfolk, VA

Provide Independent Validation & Verification, Operations, Sustainment, and Installation support

Manage JIRA/Confluence and ensure Cyber compliance

Conduct automated software testing and operate in the AWS Cloud

Required

High School diploma/GED related military experience, or trade/industrial school graduate

Required certification: Security +

5 years professional experience solving technical problems

Trained in the skills and techniques related to engineering and/or software design/maintenance

Possess a practical understanding of engineering concepts

Experience ensuring that the product/service and process meet quality and safety standards

Three (3) years of professional experience with research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs which may include database maintenance within an application area

Individual shall have experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting and notable experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g., agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting

Three (3) years' experience in Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) software testing

Three (3) years' experience in developing automated software tests

Two (2) years' experience in an agile software development process

Must hold an active Department of Defense SECRET clearance
