Business Development Sales Representative

DH Pace Company is a family-owned business that specializes in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial, industrial, and residential door products. They are seeking a Business Development Sales Representative to sell their commercial line of business, focusing on door products and services, and to cultivate sales with various commercial and industrial clients in New Orleans and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

Meet with decision makers to influence the purchase of our comprehensive line of commercial doors and related door products and services
Cultivate sales with commercial and industrial buildings owners/managers, colleges, K-12, municipalities, and hospitals in New Orleans and surrounding areas
Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards
Influencing customers’ decision to utilize our vast line of door products and services
Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily
Take on additional assignments as needed

Required

Excellent communication skills and be able to interact professionally with contacts, internal and external, at all levels and possess a high sense of urgency with exceptional problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
Successful completion of references, employment verifications, background check, drug screen, and driving record (if applicable) required in advance of hire

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
Prefer a minimum of two (2) years outside sales experience
Strong aptitude for technical applications and mechanical systems preferred
