Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns
Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client site requirements
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and/or travelers as needed
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to address security-related matters and support emergency response procedures
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
