Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for government locations such as airports
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues
Observe and report any suspicious activities, security-related hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, the public, and/or law enforcement as required
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner
Remain alert and attentive while on duty to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment at the location
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
