Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive, competitive estimates from conceptual through final bid
Analyze plans and specifications to understand project scope and identify cost-saving alternatives
Create bidders’ lists, issue bid invitations, and solicit multiple subcontractor and supplier quotes
Break down estimates by cost codes and prepare bid summaries for project handoff
Lead and attend pre-bid meetings and job site walkthroughs to gather accurate field data
Assist in value engineering efforts when needed and present clear options to clients
Collaborate with project teams post-bid for clarifications, scope tracking, and issue resolution

Required

5–10 years of direct commercial/retail construction estimating experience
